The HGSS includes all trainees at the Graduate and Post-doctoral levels registered in
the Department of Human Genetics at McGill University.
Our goals are:
- to encourage an open environment that both supports and allows constructive collaborations between
labs in the department. It is our hope that the work done by the trainees in the department will
be enhanced by collaborating with fellow trainees as well as with faculty members
- to represent the needs and wants of our constituents to the faculty and to the larger McGill
community
- to promote social interaction between trainees in order to make the experience in our department
an enjoyable and memorable one
